I recieved my new iPhone 5 on Friday and after going through the usual set up they just don't work. I know how to pair them up with my iphone as it's just the same as my last. If there's a new version of Bluetooth then that's all good but surely it must be backwards compatible.

I've tried turning bluetooth off on my iphone, turning my headphones on and putting them in pairing mode, then turning bluetooth on on my iphone..... Nothing. Then all the combinations possible to get them to pair.... Nothing.

I'm pretty sure it's not me but this seems far too big a deal for Apple to mess up on. I just upgraded to an Asus RT-N66U router about a month ago and couldn't be happier. Every room in my house gets a solid 3 wifi bars on all of my iOS devices. I haven't had a single issue with this router, so I highly doubt it has anything whatsoever to do with my router.

However, the Apple tech that I spoke with on the phone did say that the iPhone chooses whichever connection is best and uses that one. I assume this means that if over LTE you were getting 20Mbps download speeds and if your wifi was only getting 1Mbps download speeds, that your iPhone would switch to the LTE even though you have wifi enabled.

Now, if this is true, then how does the iPhone determine the "best" connection? Over my wifi network, I get around 40Mbps up and down. Over LTE, I am around 20Mbps. So as long as I'm not downloading a bunch of stuff from another system, then it should choose wifi. However, if by "best" it takes into consideration other factors such as ping, etc. (I'm no network engineer), then it may indeed choose LTE over wifi.

Anyhow, the Apple tech I spoke with said that she'd talk with her engineers and get back to me tomorrow, Thursday. Any enlightening information given to me, I'll stick in here.

View the original article here
adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05195405447149449571noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5881507736157509888.post-86132768559323157442014-02-28T22:34:00.000-08:002014-02-28T22:34:00.189-08:00Iphone 5 ringer not working
I just updated to iOS 6.1 today evening and in a few hours the ringer stopped working.

I have tried all of below

1. After syncing my phone to iTunes, the song still appears under "Work B**ch - Single," even though the album title says "Britney Jean" on iTunes. I've un-checked and synced, then re-checked and synced - no luck. I've deleted the song and re-added it both from the computer and from my iPhone 5 - no luck. iTunes Match is always off for me, and I've never had this problem before. The only ways we figured out how to do so include: 1) Manually export all contacts (.csv) & import into excel, manually changing every contact. 2) Manually change every contact within iPhone/Outlook.

Been told this question is more suited for a Microsoft/Outlook forum. However, wanted to post it in the business forum before going down that route. Being that this is most likely a common issue for other companies as well, figured I'm sure someone out there has experienced this before. If anyone has some suggestions or help, please let me know. I'm sure this has been an issue for other companies in the past as well.

Thanks,

Jordan

View the original article here
adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05195405447149449571noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5881507736157509888.post-32656534491683451552013-11-16T19:29:00.000-08:002013-11-16T19:29:00.040-08:00Does IOS 7 support Iphone5

Does IOS 7 support Iphone5

View the original article here
adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05195405447149449571noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5881507736157509888.post-78290756368655220612013-11-16T18:59:00.000-08:002013-11-16T18:59:00.549-08:00iOS 7 email search engine

On iOS 6 i did have search option in email,so i could search by subject, sender etc,and this was very helpful, and now in iOS7 i dont have it anymore :/

Now when i search, it gives all results, and this kind of organization in email, make mess in my business with my key accounts.any sugesstions?

View the original article here
adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05195405447149449571noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5881507736157509888.post-87424098441126883482013-11-16T18:29:00.000-08:002013-11-16T18:29:00.374-08:00When are you applicable to get a replacement for an iphone 5?

I got my iphone 5 about 7 months ago and I have a 1 year warranty on it.

It's been a while and my phone has been starting to act up in ways of:

The lock button not working unless pressed hard on the left side

When i'm typing a message the screen tends to freeze (I tried deleting things because i thought it was caused by the lack of memory, i turned my phone on and off, but it still happend.

It's stuck on headphones mode for a week now and i've tried everything like sucking and blowing it, inserting and taking out the headphones, turned off/on my phone, tried cleaning it with tissue & cotton swabs.

I dropped my phone twice and there is a crack on the side (i know that it cant be replace because of that) BUT it seems like the crack is getting bigger and there is debris or something going under the glass and i'm not sure how to take it off.

How can you get a replacement online?
