Cracked iPhone 5 screen, how much to have phone swapped in-store?

Hi all,

 

Recently I cracked the front screen of my iPhone 5. I am from the UK and have seen various answers with regards to how much it would cost to have fixed. I have seen that Apple dont fix it, but rather swap the phone in store, over the counter for a new one? Is this the case, and if so how much would it cost if anyone has any recent figures.

 

My local store would be Southampton if that helps,
